Major causes of snoring

by Unknown  |  in snoring at  1:40 am

I don't do snoring(thank God) and I can hate like crazy.
Before I marry self I will ask my babe. Hey, "do you snore?". If she say Yes. Oh mehn . Its over. [Lol teasing]. - Am very loyal *_*.
Back to our topic:
What are the major causes of snoring?
Snoring is caused by turbulent passages of air traveling over any structure in the snorer’s mouth and throat – such as the tongue, tonsils, and adenoids. The abnormal airflow
causes vibrations in the uvula and the soft palate above it in the throat. These dissonant vibrations result in the harsh and bothersome sound snoring is notorious for. If airflow is
found to be irregular, it implies that breathing is in some way partially obstructed during sleep.
Regardless of whether or not you snore, sleeping works the same way for everyone. As you fall deeper into sleep, your muscles begin to relax and your throat becomes more
narrow. During this stage, your breathing also becomes slower, more relaxed, and constant.
Anyone who suffers from snoring will begin to snore once any level of deeper sleep is reached.
The key to resolving snoring is to
first identify the obstruction and then seek a solution specific to your findings.

OBSTRUCTED AIRWAYS CAUSE MOST
SNORING
The most widely recognized and well-known air circulation blockades stem from age, weight, sleep position, nasal congestion, body
or mouth anatomy, and sleep apnea*.
Examining these common problems, it’s easy to acknowledge that snoring is at times somewhat difficult to pin-point a direct cause to, and in some cases, requires professional medical assistance to settle. Look at the
possible causes below and ask yourself what best applies to you or the associated snorer:
AGING CAUSES SNORING
Aging naturally causes snoring to become frequent and dominant over time, especially if the condition pre-exists in conjunction with any other airway obstruction. Your throat’s
muscle tone changes as you age, becoming slightly more narrow in shape. To avoid age taking its toll on your sleeping habits, avert alcohol, smoking, gaining weight, sleeping
pills, and medications with negative side-effects.
WEIGHT CAUSES SNORING
Weight is arguably the most established cause of snoring. Someone who is overweight tends
to have thicker neck tissues that cause strain on the throat. Maintaining a healthy weight,
staying active, and implementing healthier dietary habits can help to eliminate the extra tissue and weak muscle tone from your
airway, subsequently relieving snoring.
SLEEP POSITION CAUSES SNORING
Sleep position is not a factor most people might consider regarding snoring, but as a matter of fact, sleeping on your back can be a
major cause of snoring. Sleeping on your back can cause your throat and neck tissues to relax more than they normally would, which can cause instant blockage in the airway.
Training yourself to sleep on your side is a sure-fire method in preventing snoring due to
your sleep position.

NASAL CONGESTION CAUSES SNORING
Nasal congestion is a clear common factor in relation to snoring. Congestion resulting from allergies, sinus infections, or issues in the
nose, such as nasal polyps or a deviated septum, can all cause snoring to occur due to their obstructive nature.
BODY AND MOUTH ANATOMY CAUSES SNORING
Both play a larger role in snoring than most people may realize. Men, for example, are more likely to snore due to their narrower airways in the throat. A significant amount of
anatomy-related snoring is caused by hereditary issues, such as a cleft palette and enlarged adenoids.
SLEEP APNEA* CAUSES SNORING
Sleep apnea is a unique and much more serious snoring condition. Characteristically, it is known for causing intense periods of gasping and momentary choking during sleep
periods, which may cause the sleeper to wake momentarily to regain their breath. In other words, breathing becomes shallow and consists of abnormal pauses. Sleep apnea is
possibly the most dangerous known snoring condition due to the high risks it presents.
Obesity, high blood pressure, heart attack, and stroke are among the most common risks sleep apnea can eventually lead to if it
remains undiagnosed or goes noticed.
If you want to be my babe. 1st thing. Stop snoring it can irritate me.
