Why you shouldn't bite your nails.

Hum!. Well, this was a major habit of mine, chewing and gnawing of nails. Actually, I don't swallow my nails, I spit them after cutting it with my front teeth. Early this year, I looked at my nails and said to myself, Tobi, if you want to shake a girl or someone you possibly hold in high esteem, won't the look of your fingers be poor?.
I then helped myself by stopping it. Today my nails are grown even though attimes I still have the strong urge to pounce on my cherished long nails. Many times I hold back, while sometimes I follow my urge. Lol. Looks like I haven't been completely cured. Yea, it's an habit and habits are hard to stop.
So this morning I was inspired to write a post on "Why you shouldn't eat your nails".
1. You run the risk of an infection.
Think about everything you touch all day long, and then all of that going into your mouth.
Harmful bacteria like Salmonella and E. coli could be lingering under your nails, just to name a few. And any of that bad stuff could make you sick.
2. It can seriously damage your teeth.
Your front teeth isn't for nail biting, Biting your nails consecutively could be of greater harm than good as it damages and changes your teeth shape. It can also shift your jaw and affect the way your teeth come together, causing chronic pain overtime
3. It's dangerous to your face.
Imagine after eating or biting your nails like you eating a sugarcane, you surely have some saliva on your hand, then you touch an harmful or infection prone gadget, then you touch your face, you know what saliva does for the skin?. It would make the skin rough and then you start thinking it's another disease but it was the nails you presumed to be sugarcane.
4. It cause pains in your hands.
Now after eating your nails to be very tiny, you probably start seeing  red surface on your nails, lol, those are signs of blood, any more cut, beloved you might need some bandage. And this apparently make your hands pain you to an extent of not been able to hold anything, as tiny and small as a biro.
5. It isn't palatable. No guy likes a girl whose hands is always in her mouth, and vice versa. It doesn't show maturity as you are only a bit advanced than your naughty little brother who is always sucking his fingers. Infact, it gives your hand some sort of odour.
