by Olabajo Oluwatobiloba  |  in remedies at  10:42 am

Body odour can be very embarrassing, it is said to be "worst than aids". Because it cant be hidden unlike AIDS.
Body odour is the offensive or pungent smell that oozes out from the body of a person caused by excessive sweating , bacterias etc.

Body odour kills the social life of a person by bringing you down to the lowest esteem immediately people notices it. One cannot really know if he has body odour, but people around you can testify to that. Normally, body odour can be temporarily eradicated with body sprays or lotions, but you can get rid of it permanently by some natural remedies. The aim of this article is to tutor you on some home or natural remedies with which you can get rid of body odour.
Mind The Type Of Clothes You Wear
Clothes made of cotton are good options of fabrics you wear to get rid of body odour.
Some clothings attract a lot of heat to the body thereby causing the body to sweat excessively which results to body odour.
Don’t Neglect Your Underarms/Armpit
The underarms is one the major regions that gives you body odour when you don’t take good care of it. Hairy underarms creates room for sweating and growth of bacterias which gives rise to body odour, So inorder to stay safe, make sure you always shave your underarms atleast every 7days , rub your underarms with deodorants or lemon juice after each bath to keep that body odour away.
Wash Your Feet After Removing Your Shoes
We all know how the feet stinks after removing the shoes. This smell should be eradicated immediately by taking your bath or washing your feet .This can go a long way to help you get rid of the odour.
Other Remedies Includes :
– Always make sure you keep your skin dry always , wet or moist skin promotes the growth of bacteria.
– Quit smoking , smokers always have body odour.
– Drink a good quantity of water daily
– Always shave your pubic regions regularly
– Mind the quantity at which you eat foods like onions , garlic , ginger etc.
– Eat good quantity of green vegetables especially the ones containing chlorophyll supplements which can act as natural deodorizers and make you smell nice.

Few steps to combat Body Odour.

by Olabajo Oluwatobiloba  |  in sweat at  6:10 pm

I have seen people with this stuff, It is very embarrassing. Perhaps you are one of them suffering from this uncoverable-ailment. Do some of the listed.
- Watch what you eat
Certain foods have the potential to make our sweat more pungent. A diet high in the red meat increases body odor as does curry, garlic, and other spicy foods. “We don't fully digest garlic, curry and onions so they leave the pores with the sweat and create a strong smell,” explains Debra Jaliman, MD, author of Skin Rules: Trade Secrets from a Top New York Dermatologist.
- Shave your underarms
If you have a lot of hair under your arms, it slows the evaporation of sweat so that you have more bacteria. (If your crotch area is a problem, consider waxing. And take pit stops, meaning, if you exercise a lot or sweat a lot, wash under your arms a few times a day and change clothing.
- Wear breathable clothing
Natural fibers (linen, silk, cotton, light
wool like merino) can breathe and
decrease sweating. Also some of the high-tech fibers wick away moisture. Many exercise clothing now offer high-tech fabric that wicks away moisture from the body, so bacteria doesn’t have a chance to get at the sweat. (Clothing tags will identify them.) Dressing in layers also helps soak up the sweat.
- Use antiperspirant and deodorant
An antiperspirant blocks the sweating action while deodorants have fragrance to mask the smell. Deodorants also make the skin more acidic, making it less hospitable for bacteria. If a regular product doesn’t work for you, try a stronger over-the counter antiperspirant.
- Apply twice
Studies have shown that applying
deodorant in the morning on dry skin and at night before bed makes a big difference.
Night-time application allows the
ingredients to get into the sweat glands and clog them, as opposed to the morning, when sweat glands may already be full.
- Bath Twice daily
- Avoid wearing really really dark clothes.
- Change shoes often
If foot odor is your problem, give shoes a chance to dry inside by changing them often. Dust them and your feet with foot powder to maintain dryness.

Why you should poop everyday and the consequences of not pooping daily.

by Olabajo Oluwatobiloba  |  in poop at  2:23 pm

Lol. According to a bro in my poly, whenever he pollutes hard and everyone talks and insults him, his excuse is always "I didn't poop today".  lol. It sounded true back then. Because me as a person, I poop almost everyday and I hardly fart, even whenever I do, it rarely smells. Lol. So if you are the type that runs from the toilet. You better make it your pal, because it is good for your health.
This research work might orientate you

If you keep your feces for an extra day...
harmful bacteria in your intestine will have more time to multiply. Your immune system has to work harder to control those germs.
And your liver has increased burden of detoxifying the toxins produced by these harmful bacteria. You will have a weaker body and you get tired easily.
What if the same feces stay in your body for 3 days, 5 days and even one week? Imagine the strain you put onto your body!
If you don’t clear out your dustbin for one week, you will be busy wiping away those crawling worms around the dustbin. And I bet you can’t stand those stinking smell! If you still keep the rubbish for a few more weeks,
everyone living there will get sick.
Knowing your inside from the outside
By now, you know how terrifying it is to live with stinking rubbish. However, if you have constipation for a few days, you may not feel
disgusting on the outside. Your feces are inside. So you don’t see it and you can’t smell it.
Fortunately, there are some ways to know what is happening inside your body when you cannot see it. Is it possible? Well, here are the symptoms that show your intestine’s terrible condition.
When you fart, everyone around you faints
When your house has a two-week rubbish and you suddenly open the back door, people standing outside will get the bad smell. So they know your rubbish is ‘overdue’.
When you open your mouth, everyone around you cover their nose with their hand.
And those who are afraid to hurt you will stop breathing for as long as possible. There are many causes for bad breath. And one of them is long term constipation(me, tobeetoe once heard this before from my mum). Now your rubbish at the back kitchen is so smelly. When you open your front door, people standing outside can smell it too.
Your face is full of pimples or acne
Your large intestine stores your feces. But when you keep your feces for too long, more toxins are released. Your small intestine above your large intestine absorbs nutrients.
It will then absorb some of the toxins back into the blood stream. And when these toxins arrive at your face, you will have lots of pimples or acne.
In another words, toxins from your feces are now expelled out through your face! All this is because you don’t poop every day. Besides
your face, if the toxins reach your uterus, you may get abnormal uterus growth or tumor.
That’s why women with constipation are prone to have uterus tumor.
You get angry easily
If you have a few dustbins full of stinking rubbish in your house, can you live in peace?
Can you still lie on the couch and enjoy your favorite TV show? When you have constipation for a few days, you tend to get angry easily over tiny matter. Your body energy seems to
be disrupted when you have poor bowel movement.
Good and Bad Feces
Now you understand the importance of pooping every day. Do you know what the ideal feces are? "Huh? I thought it is fine if I poop every day. The condition of my feces is
important too?"
Yes of course! Remember, you can know your intestine condition by examining your feces.
'Good quality' feces are:
- Not smelly
- Light brown in color
- Soft but not watery
- Long and thick
Just like a banana with different color. And when you clean your anus with toilet paper, there should be very little or no stain at all.
So, you only need one piece of toilet paper.
If you need five, ten or more pieces of toilet paper, lol,  that is not a good sign. And if your feces are the opposite as the one described
above, that is not a good sign either.
The main reason for these conditions is unbalanced bacteria ecology in your intestine.
Harmful bacteria significantly outnumber beneficial bacteria. In the long run, it may lead to all sorts of intestinal problem including colon cancer.
Prolong constipation also causes more accumulated feces in the intestine wall. And your large intestine may become contracted at
certain point. This causes tiny and short feces.

Ehen, hope you got orientated?. Me myself didn't know not pooping can cause mouth odour until I did few research.

Detailed: Foods that causes mouth odour(Bad breath)

by Olabajo Oluwatobiloba  |  in odour at  12:28 am

Bad breath hmm, more embarrassing than a virus.
Get oriented!
There are certain foods to avoid that cause bad breath. Some foods are prone to cause a foul smell to develop on peoples breath more
quickly than others. It is common knowledge that foods like garlic and onions cause bad breath but here is a list of foods and types of foods that cause bad breath. Remember that
brushing your teeth, flossing, and gargling mouthwash after eating these foods will remove most of if not all the negative effects that these foods will have on your breath. If
you are out and about or do not have access to a toothbrush it is always a good idea to sip some water and swish it in your mouth for about 10 seconds and spit it out to remove
food particles from your mouth. If you are even more desperate you may use a spoon as a tongue scraper. This will reduce the affect it will have on your breath.
Foods that contain sugars
Foods that are acidic
Foods that dry out your mouth
Foods that get stuck in the mouth
Foods with a strong odor

Foods that contain sugars
Sugary foods are the most important to avoid if you are concerned about foods that cause bad breath. The sugar provides a quick food source for bacteria, and allows them to reproduce quickly. Also some bacteria cause the buildup of plaque that coats your teeth and gums if they have access to sugars. When
eating sugary food, be sure to brush your teeth after or at least give your mouth a good rinsing. Avoid breath mints and chewing gum that contains sugar as those will do more
harm than good. Also lay off of the sugary drinks such as soda pop, coffee, etc.
Foods that are acidic
The mouth has a normal pH level of 6.5. In the pH scale 7 is considered neutral so foods with a pH lower than 7 are considered acidic.
Foods that are acidic lower the pH level in the mouth. Bacteria that cause bad breath thrive in this acidic environment. Here are lists of acidic foods:
Lemons
Oranges
Grapefruit
Pineapple
Vinegar
Tomatoes
Peppers
Beef
Eggs
Although bacteria do like an acidic
environment, eating acidic foods does not negatively affect breath nearly as much as eating foods that contain a lot of sugar, dry out the mouth, or that are naturally just
smelly like garlic.

Foods that dry out your mouth
Drinks with alcohol will dry out your mouth. A dry mouth helps the anaerobic bacteria that cause bad breath because these anaerobic
bacteria are killed when exposed to oxygen which is found in saliva. So a dry mouth will not have as much oxygen that kills bacteria.
Smoking also drys out the mouth very quickly.
NOTE: Unfortunately alcohol is also found in many mouthwashes. Be sure to use one that does not contain alcohol so it does not dry out the mouth.
Everyone knows that smoking makes your breath small bad. If you want fresh breath, quit smoking or switch to e-cigarettes.

Foods that get stuck in the mouth
Your saliva usually does a pretty good job of breaking food down and washing it down the throat and to the stomach through swallowing, but some foods are either fibrous
or sticky and easily get stuck in between or on teeth. These left over food particles will act as fuel for the odor causing bacteria and will cause bad breath in time. Make sure to floss after eating foods like these. Here are lists of foods that easily get stuck in your teeth.
Meat
Pineapple
Mango
Popcorn
Caramel
Various sticky candies like Jolly Ranchers
Coconut
Seaweed
Spinach
Banana
Coffee

Foods with a strong odor
This is where garlic, onions, salsa, and your mother-in-law's curry belongs. The reason why foods like garlic make you have such bad
breath is because garlic contains sulfur compounds. VSCs (Volatile Sulfur Compounds) are what the bacteria produce that causes bad breath. So when eating these foods the bacteria do not even have to do
anything and you are going to have breath because the sulfur compounds will get in your
mouth from these foods. Be sure to brush, floss, and gargle mouthwash very well after eating these foods to rid your mouth of these sulfur compounds. I find it is also necessary to use a tongue scraper or scrub the tongue well after eating these foods.

Hope you learnt something?. So don't blame your mouth odour on toothpastes lol. Check your foods!.
