Awesome tips for treating Flatulence(Farting)

by Olabajo Oluwatobiloba  |  in tips at  12:19 am

Treatment options for flatulence
In most cases, a change in lifestyle and diet is all that is needed.
Diet and digestion
Avoid eating the foods listed in the "causes of flatulence" that have high levels of unabsorbable carbohydrates. Ask your doctor or a qualified dietitian for advice. It is important that your diet contains your daily nutritional requirements in calories, vitamins , minerals, etc.
The following carbohydrate foods are easier to digest:
Bananas
Citrus fruits
Grapes
Lettuce
Rice
Yogurt (not if you are lactose intolerant; check with a nutritionist).
Eat smaller meals - many people find that their symptoms improve if they eat four to six smaller meals per day, rather than three large ones. Peppermint tea has been known to help.
Eat slowly - don't gulp the food down. Digestion starts in your mouth, chew your food slowly before you swallow it.
Avoid chewing gum - eating chewing gum makes people swallow more air, something a person with flatulence needs to avoid.
Dairy products - if you are not sure whether you are lactose intolerant , try buying low-lactose milk and dairy products. If your symptoms improve, it is possible you are.
Supplements of lactase, an enzyme which helps digest lactose may help.
Beans - if the beans are fermented before cooking them, the amount of soluble fiber goes down, while their nutritional quality is enhanced.
Exercise - apart from being good for the health, exercise helps the proper functioning of the digestive system, the elimination of gas, and bloating.
Smoking - smoking makes people swallow more air; it can also irritate the digestive system. Giving up smoking may help some people.

Recommended tips to curb Kidney failure.

by Olabajo Oluwatobiloba  |  in tips at  5:02 pm

Most chronic kidney disease (CKD) can't be cured. The good news is that if your doctor finds out that you have a kidney problem, there may be a number of ways to help slow down the disease, help you feel better, and help you make better medical decisions. What can you do?
- Know Your Lab Tests
Learn the names of the lab tests your doctor orders and what the results mean. Kidney disease is often diagnosed, and always monitored, by measuring levels of substances in the blood or urine. Knowing—and tracking—your lab tests is an important way for you to be involved in your care. Normal lab test ranges vary slightly from one laboratory to another. When you get your results, be sure to ask what the laboratory's normal range is.
: Control Your Blood Pressure
: Keep your blood pressure at the target level your doctor sets with
: Weight loss
: Exercise
: A low-sodium diet
: Reducing stress
: Taking your blood pressure medication the right way
- Ask Your Doctor About Certain Medications That May Help Treat Kidney Disease
Angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors are a class of blood pressure medicines that can protect kidney function in some cases (generic names include ramipril, captopril, and enalapril). In some people, ACE inhibitors cause a cough, which stops when you stop taking the drug. Angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs) may be used along with or instead of ACE inhibitors. There may be drugs that treat the kidney problem YOU have, too.
Fish oil has been found to help some types of kidney problem. Drugs that suppress the immune system may help some autoimmune causes of CKD.
- Ask Your Doctor About Anemia
A shortage of red blood cells can start early in CKD. Anemia can cause you to feel tired and worn out. Ask your doctor about medications such as epoetin (EPO) and iron to treat anemia.
- Eat a Healthy Diet
We literally are what we eat—we build our cells out of our food. So, if you eat mostly fast food and drink sugary sodas, you may be able to improve your kidney health by eating better foods. Studies have found that eating more fresh vegetables, fruit*, and low fat dairy and less saturated fat, starches, and sweets may help slow CKD.
*NOTE: Dried fruits (e.g., raisins, prunes, apricots, etc.) and some fresh ones (like papaya, mango, avocado, bananas, and oranges) have a lot of potassium. If your kidneys don't work well, this could be dangerous for you. Talk to a dietitian about what is safe for you to eat.
- Ask Your Doctor About a Lower-Protein Diet
Some doctors believe a diet lower in some proteins can help slow kidney disease. Ask your doctor to refer you to a dietitian who specializes in treating those with chronic kidney disease. A dietitian can help you learn how to keep your kidneys healthy longer by eating the right foods. Don't limit your protein until you have talked about it with your doctor or dietitian.
- Control Your Blood Sugar Levels
If you have diabetes, stay at a healthy weight, exercise, and take medications as prescribed to keep your blood glucose in the "normal" range. Tight control of blood sugar can help slow the progression of kidney disease. Your HbA1c levels, which measure your blood sugar control over a period of 3 months, should be less than 6.5%.
- Quit Smoking
In people with CKD, smoking is linked to an increase in the amount of protein spilled in the urine. In smokers with diabetes, CKD may progress twice as fast. Scientists are not sure why this is the case, but if you have kidney disease and you smoke, quitting may help slow down the damage.
- Avoid Certain Pain Medications
Some over-the-counter pain pills containing ibuprofen or naproxen, and even acetaminophen (e.g., Motrin®, Advil®, Aleve®, Tylenol®) can affect kidney function. This is especially true if you have kidney, heart, or liver disease or you take diuretics (water pills).
Avoid using combinations of these pain pills and caffeine—both at once can further damage your kidneys.
- Exercise
With your doctor's okay, start an exercise program to control weight and keep your heart and blood vessels healthy and your muscles and joints in good working order.

Simple tips ladies should adhere to, to have curly and silky hairs.

by Olabajo Oluwatobiloba  |  in tips at  1:48 pm

As a woman, your hair is your beauty. If your hair is as hard as a stone, you would find it difficult to comb your hair. And your hair gives your woo'er/man the first impression about you.
Me personally, I love (Agape) girls with curly hairs. After a girl's face, the next thing every guy, including me check are her hairs, then maybe the ass, boobs(Razz) and others. The following tips would give you strong orientation on how to be a charm to any guy using your hairs.
- Avoid washing your hair daily.
Your hair follicles produce natural oils (lipids) which add shine and softness; washing your hair repeatedly with harsh chemicals (such as those present in most shampoos) removes these oils. While removing them is necessary as they build up and become greasy in appearance over time, washing your hair every day can strip away the healthy oils. Wash at least once a week and no more than twice a week for the right balance.
- Avoid dyes.
The pre-treatment (usually with ammonia) makes the hair strand weak and the follicles damaged. Repeatedly using hair colors will make your hair dry, dull and lifeless.
- Stay away from heat products.
Using blow dryers, flat irons, and curling irons burn your hair and create split ends. This dry, fragile, and broken hair will be difficult to smooth and appear dead and dull. Try using heating tools as little as possible, or avoid them altogether. Always let your hair air dry after you wash it. If you must use a blower, use it without heat.
- Take vitamin supplements.
Certain supplements, such as Omega-3 oil, fish egg phospholipids, and vitamin E, improve the shine and growth of your hair. Purchase these in a gel-capsule form from a local health food store, and take them on a daily basis.
- Trim off split ends.
Over time, your hair will look damaged and dry if it is not trimmed as a result of split ends. Take time every 3-4 months to get a hair trim, and watch the shine of your hair significantly improve.
- Comb your hair regularly
- Use hair creams

Simple natural tips to have curly hairs.

by Olabajo Oluwatobiloba  |  in tips at  1:11 pm

Many guys have lost their girlfriends to this stunning Nigeria pop artist, Korede bello, mainly because of his cuteness and curly hair. I could remember when I read a Godwin review on a popular blog, girls were just commenting "Awwn, I love his hair'. Me as a person, i wasnt jealous because I have curly hairs too. Many girls have commented on my own hair too. Want to see mine, follow me on Instagram @tobeetoe (Lol). But no doubt having curly hairs adds to your beauty as a guy.
Am not surprised of me having curly hairs because I do all of this listed Below everyday, even Korede, I would tag him on my Twitter and await his response. Well, you can have your babe back by doing the below....
- Brush your hair out before showering.
It's possible to give your hair body and lightness by brushing it out before you wet it for the shower. Whether you're going to shampoo or not, running a brush through your hair will keep your hair from matting and clumping, giving it body and lightness for afterward. Brushing alone can't give you curls, but it's a helpful first step in the process.
- Rinse your hair regularly.
If you want naturally curly hair, rinse your hair regularly to keep it clean and fresh, but don't use shampoo more than once or twice a week if you have naturally straight hair. This is because shampoo will dry out your hair and strip it of its natural oils, which help to give hair body, bounce, and curl. If you want curlier hair, rinse it, don't wash it.
- Wash your hair less.
If you want to help train your hair to curl naturally, stop washing it so much. Regular rinsing helps to keep your hair lighter, keeping the dirt and build-up out of your hair, but it also allows the natural oils in your hair to keep your hair silky and light, giving it body and curl in the right conditions. Shampoo dries your hair out and weighs it down over time, making it less likely that it'll be able to curl. Washing your hair will straighten, rinsing your hair will curl.
Different people will need to wash their hair more or less, accordingly. If you have particularly greasy hair, you might need to wash it every other day at least.
If you have dry hair, try washing it only once a week or less and rinse every day.
- Let your hair air dry.
If you want curly hair, you can't use a blow dryer or towel-dry your hair to death. The best way to get hair to curl naturally is to let it dry on its own, preferably overnight. Sleeping on your hair might make it look kinked up and messy, but it may also help to give it the kind of curl you're looking for, depending on your type of hair.

Use hair creams.
- Comb hair often in a 360 wave style.

In general, if you want curlier hair, it's better to bathe at night, or rinse your hair before sleeping.

Early Signs and Symptoms of Pregnancy.

by Olabajo Oluwatobiloba  |  in tips at  5:47 pm

You know, any girl or woman can come to tell a guy that she's pregnant or something. The guy not possibly knowing the fundamental Pregnancy symptoms would be probably  deceived and would start fulfilling the girls wishes(just a thought). Also, a lady can think she's pregnant maybe because of just missing one period, and may not be.
Now, we at Tbthealth will orientate you on the common symptoms of pregnancy.
- Prickling, tingling nipples
As pregnancy hormones increase the blood supply to your breasts, you may feel a tingling sensation around your nipples. This can be one of the earliest signs of pregnancy, and is sometimes noticeable within a week or so of conception.
Once your body gets used to the hormone surge, this sensation will subside.
- Spotting and cramping
It's common to have some spotting at the time when you'd usually have your period. You may notice a slight pink or brown-coloured stain in your knickers, or when you wee, or feel slight cramping. Experts aren't sure why spotting in very early pregnancy happens, but it's thought to either be caused by the egg implanting in your uterus , or more likely, the hormones that control your periods kicking in.
- Feeling sick
If you're lucky, you'll escape this completely.
However, morning sickness is a common symptom of early pregnancy. It often starts when you're about six weeks pregnant, though it can start as early as four weeks. You may feel sick and queasy, or even vomit. Despite the name, morning sickness can affect you at any time of the day, or night.
- Tender, swollen breasts
Once you are about six weeks pregnant, your breasts may become increasingly tender to the touch. It’s similar to how they feel before you have a period, but more so.
You may notice that your breasts are larger and swollen, with blue veins visible just below the skin. Tenderness tends to be most
common in the first trimester, easing as pregnancy progresses.
- Feeling tired
Exhausted? You may find yourself diving for your duvet as your body cranks up to support your baby, right from the early stages of pregnancy. Pregnancy hormones in your body are to blame, as these can make you feel tired, upset and emotional. Though fatigue is not a sure-fire symptom on its own, it's a common pregnancy symptom.
You may find that tiredness wipes you out the most in your first trimester and third trimester.
- Needing to wee frequently
From about six weeks of pregnancy, you may notice that you're weeing more often .
This is down to a combination of pregnancy hormones, a larger volume of blood in your system, and your kidneys working extra hard.
If you feel pain or a burning sensation when you wee, though, you may have a urinary tract infection (UTI).
- Darker nipples
Skin changes are common during pregnancy.
One of the first changes you may notice is the circle of skin round your nipples (areolas) getting darker. This can happen from about eight weeks.
You may also find that the bumps around your nipples become more pronounced, and your nipples more erect. Your vulva and vagina may change to a deeper, purplish red, too, though you probably won't notice this!
- Food cravings and altered sense of smell
Food cravings can be a sign of pregnancy.
You may go off some foods, but develop a craving for others. This can happen very early for some women, even before they've missed a period. Some women report a metallic taste in their mouth, others that they can’t stand the taste of coffee or a food they usually like, such as eggs.
Your sense of smell may change as well, and you may find that you're more sensitive to aromas from food or cooking.
- A missed period
If you're usually pretty regular, and your period doesn't start on time, you'll probably take a pregnancy test before you notice any other signs. A missed period is one of the surest signs of pregnancy.
But if your periods are usually irregular, or you lose track of when your next one is due, you may not realise that your period is late. In this case, tender breasts , feeling queasy and making extra trips to the loo may be early clues that you’re pregnant.
- The proof: a positive home pregnancy test
Most home pregnancy tests will give you a reliable result if you wait until at least the first day of a missed period. If a blue line appears in the test window, you're probably expecting.
So make an appointment with your midwife.

Habits we should ban to have a radiant and shining skin.

by Olabajo Oluwatobiloba  |  in tips at  7:47 pm

We’re divulging some of our skin tips that might just help you achieve your best skin ever. It’s not so much a to-do list, but more of a “what not to do” list.
You’re probably already doing some awesome things for your skin, like using natural skin care or eating an organic diet. Keep on keepin’ on! But you might also be committing
skin sabotage in some ways you didn’t realize.
Our source made a list of 9 things you might be doing to make your skin less-than-radiant. Most of.us have been guilty of some of things at least
once in our lives!
If you want this year to be the year that your skin tone evens before your eyes, your wrinkles
soften, or your breakouts subside, we
recommend you kick these habits!
1. Eating Excess Sugar (When you know you shouldn’t!)
A 2013 study looked at the connection between blood sugar and aging. Participants who tested with higher blood sugar levels were
also rated as looking older. Crazy, right?
Looking older shouldn’t be the only reason you avoid eating sugar, but it is one effect that this addictive substance seems to have.
Constantly spiking our blood sugar levels and then later crashing down is an unhealthy cycle that many of us subject our bodies to, and our skin shows it.
We recommend making informed choices about which kind of sweetener you use and paying attention to how much sugar is in the
prepared foods that you buy. For those of us who maybe haven’t perfected the art of making “meals” (ahem, guilty), simply eliminating Justin’s Organic Chocolate Peanut
Butter Cups from your breakfast menu might be an easy place to start.
2. Not Hydrating
We’ve all heard that statistic that says we’re pretty much just a bunch of water that look like humans walking around the planet. Yet
we still find reasons not to hydrate: “Water is boring…” “Having to pee all the time is inconvenient…” “I hate washing cups…”
We know that we need water to do all the things our body needs to do. One is transporting nutrients to the places they need to go. Another is flushing out the toxins we don’t want hanging around. So do yourself a favor this and drink up!
Personally, the constant motion of drinking from a cup kind of annoys me. Not like a pet peeve, I’d-tell-you-this-during-a-get-to-know-you-game kind of thing. I’d just rather
drink out of a straw. So I use one of those obnoxiously huge cups with a built in straw, add a squeeze of lemon and ice and take sips
throughout the day. Maybe having an
awesome water receptacle would work for you, too.
3. Sleeping on Pillow Cases Washed with Toxic Laundry Detergent
Bet you didn’t see this one coming!
we talked about chemicals found in laundry detergents that you might be using, some of which are linked to cancer, lung damage, and hormone disruption. Given that your clothes
are on your body all day and you sleep on your pillows all night, you might want to think twice about what you use to launder them.
Is using chemical detergents to wash your pillow cases causing your acne or wrinkles?
Probably not. But it’s definitely not helping, and some people are more sensitive to chemical irritation than others. Either way, having those substances near your face (for ⅓
of your life!) does not a happy complexion (or body) make. You might try making your own detergent if DIY is your style.
4. Using Skin Care Products That Contain Alcohol
Why is there alcohol in your skin care
products? They’re used to help ingredients mix together to form a finished product, act as preservatives, and temporarily shrink your pores.
Why don’t you want them there? Some alcohols used in skin care are drying, irritating, and damaging to your skin, and many contain petroleum-derived additives that
you definitely don’t want on your face.
Even the types of alcohols that are pretty much harmless aren’t doing anything good for your skin, but if you replaced the alcohol with healing aloe juice, your skin would be singing
joyful noises (or dancing or painting or doing whatever your skin does when it wants to express itself).
All we’re saying is, be choosy when it comes to the ingredients in your skin care. There are so many plant-based ingredients out there that your skin loves, so there’s no need to settle for skin-drying alcohols.
5. Skin Addictions
Skin gets used to what you put on it. If you’re feeding it well, awesome! If you’re not, then there can be problems. A common ingredient
that skin gets addicted to is benzoyl peroxide.
Usually prescribed for acne, it clears up the skin by killing bacteria and reducing oil production. In the long term, it is extremely drying for most skin types, essentially working
like a bleach. Ouch!
Alkaline benzoyl peroxide disturbs your skin’s acid mantle, which should be at a pH of between 4.5-5.5. Once you stop using it, your skin starts to re-balance itself to its natural pH. During what is essentially a detox process, many people find that they break out.
Have patience! These skin detox-induced breakouts should subside after a few weeks.
And there are lots of natural remedies for acne and other skin conditions. Our Citrus Mint
Cleanser is pH balanced and gentle while also helping to keep acne breakouts at bay.
6. Using Unnatural Makeup
So we talked about your skin at night (resting on a pillow case), but what about during the day? Many of us wear makeup, either occasionally or for everyday coverage. There’s
nothing wrong with wanting to look your best, but putting on foundation, blush, concealer, etc. everyday could be making your skin less healthy.
Many makeup brands, I’m going to say most, use ingredients that can cause you harm. Last
Unnatural makeup products can clog your pores, irritate your skin, and create a barrier that keeps your skin from breathing. So, your skin gets worse over time as you use them.
We favor natural mineral makeups without added preservatives and fragrances. They’re a healthy way to even out your skin tone and cover imperfections. You can also use our Sun Love lotion for a hint of color (not to mention luxurious avocado oil and beautifying hyaluronic acid).
7. Leaving Your Makeup on Overnight
You’re tired. Your eyelids are closing against your will. You’re almost considering sleeping in your jeans. Stop! Wait! It’s time to wash off
your makeup. Naked skin is happy skin.
Especially if you’re wearing chemical makeup brands, you want to give your skin a break over night.
In the same vein, make sure to wash your makeup off before working out. When you break a sweat and your pores open up, dirt, oil and, yep, makeup will get in there. Also,
unless you want to wash your pillow cases every day (Ouch! Said mother earth) you should do your best to keep them clean in between washes. Another reason that washing your face before bed is a must!
8. Eating From a Box
You can’t talk about good skin without talking about health. Your skin is an indicator of what’s happening inside. We can’t tell you
whether being gluten-free, vegan, raw, vegetarian or what will work for you. There a lot of theories and diet plans out there, and we don’t have the bandwidth to sift through them all.
However, eating whole foods is something pretty un-debatably healthy. It can be challenging to prepare foods from scratch and
avoid the urge to succumb to a prepacked frozen entree, but preparing fresh foods is a great way to stay healthy. At the very least,
you’ll know what’s on your plate.
Try to have a salad or smoothie every day to up your intake of raw fruits, vegetables, and nuts. Try to eat the rainbow! Different colored produce provides different benefits, so make
things fun and multicolored on your plate in order to cover your nutritional bases.
9. Not Exfoliating
We’ll end with a simple one: exfoliation. As you get older, your rate of cell turnover decreases and your need for regular exfoliation
increases. Giving your skin a good scrub sloughs off dead skin cells and encourages new ones to generate. Plus, when you’re using potent anti-aging products, you want to make
sure they are being well absorbed (not just sitting on top of dead skin cells).
Of course, there is such a thing as too much exfoliation, so you need to find a balance. For most people, a couple times a week does the trick. As you age, this may be closer to 3 or 4
times a week.
We have an amazing Dead Sea Scrub that exfoliates while re-mineralizing the skin. It’s the perfect thing to use before putting on a moisturizing mask.
If you have whiteheads or otherwise sensitive skin, be careful not to exfoliate too vigorously.
A gentle scrub like our Ayurvedic Facial Scrub may be better suited for you.
You can achieve the skin you want! By ditching some of your bad
habits and adopting some good ones, you could find yourself waking up to younger, more radiant looking skin!

Tips: Why you need to take bananas so often

by Olabajo Oluwatobiloba  |  in tips at  7:06 pm

Mehn I so like banana . Back then in high school. I don't miss it everyday, whenever am going home. I buy some 50# or 200# banana. Lol apart from it's sweetness it also contains some basic nutrients which would be talked about in our next post, but these are some tangible reasons why you should eat a banana so often.
You'll never look at a banana the same way again after discovering the many health benefits and reasons to add them to your diet.
Bananas combat depression, make you smarter, cure hangovers, relieve morning sickness, protect against kidney cancer, diabetes, osteoporosis and blindness. They can cure the itch of a mosquito bite and put a great shine on your shoes.
If you think bananas are just for monkeys, think again.
1. Bananas help overcome depression due to high levels of tryptophan, which is converted into serotonin -- the happy-mood brain neurotransmitter.
2. Eat two bananas before a strenuous workout to pack an energy punch and sustain your blood sugar.
3. Protect against muscle cramps during workouts and nighttime leg cramps by eating a banana.
4. Counteract calcium loss during
urination and build strong bones by
supplementing with a banana.
5. Improve your mood and reduce PMS symptoms by eating a banana, which regulates blood sugar and produces stress-relieving relaxation.
6. Bananas reduce swelling, protect
against type II diabetes, aid weight loss, strengthen the nervous system, and help with the production of white blood cells, all due to high levels of vitamin B-6.
7. Strengthen your blood and relieve
anemia with the added iron from
bananas.
8. High in potassium and low in salt,
bananas are officially recognized by the FDA as being able to lower blood
pressure and protect against heart
attack and stroke.
Eating Bananas Aids Digestion
9. Rich in pectin, bananas aid digestion and gently chelate toxins and heavy metals from the body.
10. Bananas act as a prebiotic, stimulating the growth of friendly bacteria in the bowel. They also produce digestive enzymes to assist in absorbing nutrients.
11. Constipated? High fiber in bananas can help normalize bowel motility.
12. Got the runs? Bananas are soothing to the digestive tract and help restore lost electrolytes after diarrhoea.
13. Bananas are a natural antacid,
providing relief from acid reflux,
heartburn and GERD.
14. Bananas are the only raw fruit that can be consumed without distress to relieve stomach ulcers by coating the lining of the stomach against corrosive acids.
Natural Cures From A Simple Banana
15. Eating bananas will help prevent kidney cancer, protects the eyes against
macular degeneration and builds strong bones by increasing calcium absorption.
16. Bananas make you smarter and help with learning by making you more alert.
Eat a banana before an exam to benefit from the high levels of potassium.
17. Bananas are high in antioxidants,
providing protection from free radicals and chronic disease.
18. Eating a banana between meals helps stabilize blood sugar and reduce nausea from morning sickness.
19. Rub a bug bite or hives with the inside of the banana peel to relieve itching and irritation.
20. Control blood sugar and avoid binging between meals by eating a banana.
21. Eating a banana can lower the body temperature and cool you during a feveror on a hot day.
22. The natural mood-enhancer tryptophan, helps to relieve Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).
23. Quitting smoking? Bananas contain high levels of B-vitamins as well as potassium and magnesium to speed recovery from the effects of withdrawal.

Adequate tip on How to survive a sleepless night

by Olabajo Oluwatobiloba  |  in tips at  7:38 am

Yawns!. Good morning, Guessing you clicked this because you couldn't sleep last night right?.
Ok this would surely orientate you but I advice you don't do this often, like everyday!.
Everyone knows what sleep deprivation can lead to:
- Heart attack and failure.
- High blood pressure.
- Headache.
-Tremor of limbs.
- Nausea.
- Dizziness.
- Mania.
- Intestinal upset.
- Hallucinations.
- Visual and motor skills’.deterioration.
- Early aging of internal organs.
- Inability to judge reasonably.
- Memory and cognitive impairment.
- Rambling speech and fogged thoughts.
Obesity.
Different sleeping disorders:
- Insomnia
- Sleep paralysis
- Sleepwalking
- A lethargic sleep
- Hypersomnia
- Narcolepsy Etc.
After looking through such a long list of certain problem or ailment not sleeping could cause you. I don't see why we shouldn't sleep, because just like a car engine, Electricity generator needs rest to function well. If you work a Generator too much. It spoils in no days, so the human body. However there are some other reasons why we may be deprived of sleep  Sometimes we do not have a choice. A project, report and preparation for an exam couldn’t
care less about our daily routine.
When a person does not sleep at night, circadian rhythm of a man’s organism is broken with his/her own hand. Circadian rhythm is each person’s body clock which
mostly depends on the availability of natural light (day-night cycles) and establishes the time when it is necessary for a particular organism to have a rest and for how long.
Also, circadian rhythms are responsible for hormones, body temperature, etc. Each person
has his/her own Circadian rhythm due to the organism’s sustainability.
It is rather hard to resist circadian rhythm patterns: if a person dies from drowsiness, he/she has to go through a really difficult period of time. That is why it is extremely dangerous
and not recommended to drive in such a state! A man’s condition when he/she is deprived of sufficient amount of sleep equals to the one when he/she is drunk. There can be
periods of energy surge when you might think that the devil is not as dark as it is painted,
but they are temporary. A little bit later, you will inevitably feel even more fatigued, depressed, your reaction will become slower,
thoughts and speech rambling, movements uncoordinated.
However, there is a chance that your brain will work almost as effectively as if you are not experiencing sleep deprivation. 16 adults who did not sleep for 35 hours were asked to try to cope with a pretty complicated task, and they succeeded. The thing is that a human brain possesses an unbelievable ability to pull itself
up and set in motion different areas it would not use without necessity; it begins to involve its resources left for the case of emergency.
But it won’t be able to do it forever; with time, the results will become worse and worse if a man does not provide his/her organism with a
needed amount of sleep.
There are some ways that may help to distract your organism from an insurmountable desire to sleep when you really have to finish something important.
1. Do not grudge a few minutes and take a nap.
15-25 minutes will be enough for you to feel refreshed and be ready to get down to work again. During this period of time, a man enters the first and sometimes the second sleep stages:
muscles become totally relaxed, a heart rate and body temperature starts to drop, all organism’s processes (including metabolism) slow down considerably; organism begins to compensate energy losses. Pay attention that it is not recommended to have a nap longer than 40-45 minutes because then it is extremely difficult to wake up. Why? Because some people
can manage to enter a deep sleep stage during this time. After awakening from it, sleep inertia follows (a man wants to sleep even more; he/she does not feel rested; alertness and concentration are
on a too low level for a descent work).
2. Caffeinated drinks.
This method of staying awake longer
must be known to everyone. A man can consume such beverages as coffee, tea, energy drinks, drinks that contain guarana (berries from South America that contain twice as much caffeine as coffee beans). Also, caffeine containing pills are on offer at drug stores.
100-200 mg of this energizing
substance is enough to keep a man
wakeful for about 3-4 hours. As a rule, a man feels its effect in 15-30 minutes.
But you should realize that it does not eliminate fatigue from your organism; it just disguises it. As soon as its effect vanishes, you will be ruined.
3. Do physical exercises (directly when you feel exhausted because of sleep deprivation and during waking hours).
They say that when a man’s muscles
are loosened up, brain takes it as an
example and also begins to work
quicker. That’s why a person becomes more attentive and cheerful.
There was conducted an experiment.
Specialists investigated an awakening effect produced by a bar of chocolate and walking. They came to a conclusion that chocolate energizes a man for approximately an hour and walking – for at least 2 hours. They state that oxygen plays a key role here.
4. Switch a kind of activity.
From time to time, when you are feeling bored to death, try to distract yourself doing something else for some time.
Then, go back to your main task. You’ll see that it will be much easier to continue working on it.
5. Turn up the lights.
A human organism reacts to the
alternation of day and night. When it is dark in a room or outside, we have a strong desire to fall into sweet dreams.
That is why keep bright lights in the
place where you are working. It is a
proved fact that a man tends to make
lights dimmer or turn them off when he/she gets more and more tired. Mind and resist it.
6. Drink water.
Scientists found out that if a man is
well hydrated, he/she has chances to
stay cheerful longer.
7. Let your eyes rest.
If your work is connected with
computers or it requires viewing
something in the smallest details, you subject your eyes to the state of
constant tension. It can lead to fatigue and drowsiness. Choose some time for them to relax: focus your look at something else, switch activities or simply close your eyes for a few minutes.
8. Breathing technique.
When you are feeling deadly tired and
sleepy, try to breathe deeply. It will
involve more oxygen into your organism that, in its turn, will slow your heart rate down, decrease blood pressure and improve blood circulation. It is better to practice abdomen, not chest breathing.
Also, you can try to alternate short
breaths with normal ones. Do this
exercise for about 1 minute. This
method is used in yoga.
9. Let fresh cool air into a room.
An organism will be more saturated
with oxygen. Consequently, a brain will work more actively and repress the feeling of sleepiness.
10. Take cold shower or wash your face with cold water.
11. It is recommended to eat hard-boiled eggs, almonds, cashews, pecans, apples, bananas, carrots, toasts with peanut butter, brown rice, turkey, yoghurt. They will give you some energy.
Do not rely on your memory much after a sleepless night. An experiment was carried out in which 40 adults who did not sleep for 42 hours took part. After having run a few tests, it was noticed that their memory’s
capacity decreased by 38 per cent.
Sometimes, we do not have another choice but to deprive ourselves of a sufficient night sleep due to some circumstances. But it is important to realize that it is not normal, and
practicing it every single night can do much harm to your health and life achievements.

Important lifestyle tips for healthy teeth.

by Olabajo Oluwatobiloba  |  in tips at  8:39 am

Hm. Sugar. We all know it's bad but we can't just resist it mainly Because of its sweetness.
If you read this article, and understand them and do them. You tend to have healthier teeth!

Taking care of your general health and your mouth is the key to making the most of your smile.
Brushing your teeth twice a day (last thing at night before you go to bed and on one other occasion) with fluoride toothpaste and having
regular check-ups with a dentist can help keep your teeth healthy. Diet, smoking and drinking alcohol also have an effect on dental health.
A healthy diet is good for your teeth
What you eat and drink can cause tooth decay, so a healthy diet is important for your teeth.
A healthy, balanced diet includes plenty of fruit and vegetables, as well as starchy foods such as bread, rice, potatoes and pasta (choose wholegrain versions and eat potatoes with their skin where possible).
You should also eat sources of protein such as meat, fish, eggs, beans or other non-dairy sources of protein, and some milk and dairy
foods (ideally lower fat options).
Only eat small amounts of food and drinks high in fat and sugar. The eatwell plate shows how the different types of food should make up your diet.
*
Reduce sugar to prevent tooth decay
Limiting the amount of sugar you eat and drink is important to prevent tooth decay.
A lot of the sugars we eat and drink are in food and drinks such as:
- Sweets
- Chocolate
- Cakes and biscuits
- Sugary drinks, including soft drinks, fizzy drinks, milky drinks with added sugar, and alcohol fruit juice, including fresh fruit juice buns, pastries and fruit pies sponge puddings and other puddings
table sugar added to food or drinks, such as:
- tea
- sugary breakfast cereals
- jams
- marmalades
- honey and syrups
- ice cream and sorbets
dried fruit or fruit in syrup syrups and sweet sauces
Try to cut down on the added sugar you have in your diet.
Stick to one glass of fruit juice a day
Sugars occur naturally in foods such as fruit and milk, but we don't need to cut down on these types of sugars.
But when fruit is juiced or blended, as in smoothies, the sugars are released from the structure of the fruit.
Once released, these sugars can damage teeth, especially if you drink fruit juice frequently.
Even unsweetended fruit juice is sugary, so try not to drink more than one glass (about 150ml) of fruit juice each day.
How smoking damages teeth
Smoking can stain your teeth yellow, cause bad breath, and increases your risk of gum disease, breathing problems, lung cancer and
mouth cancer .
If you smoke 20 or more cigarettes a day, you're six times more likely to develop mouth cancer than someone who doesn't smoke. So giving up smoking is important if you want to
look and feel better.
See post related to smoking .
Alcohol and oral health
Alcohol misuse has been linked to an
increased risk of developing mouth cancer .
According to Cancer Research UK, 75-80% of mouth cancer patients say they frequently drink alcohol.
The most important risk factors for mouth cancers are the combined effect of smoking and drinking alcohol.
It's estimated that heavy drinkers and smokers have a 38 times increased risk of developing mouth cancer than people who neither drink nor smoke.
Alcohol can also erode the outer surface of the teeth, leading to a loss of enamel. If this happens, you may need to go to the dentist for a filling.
Read post related to alcohol
Eat right for a whiter smile
Some substances, foods and drinks can stain your teeth. Wine, cigarette smoke, tea and coffee are all teeth-staining culprits. Keep them to a minimum to stop your teeth
becoming stained.
Your dentist or hygienist will be able to giveyour teeth a professional clean, which may help reduce the staining.
If you want to find out about other options, such as tooth whitening, have a chat with your dentist.

Essential: Quick and efficient tips to stop Worrying!!

by Olabajo Oluwatobiloba  |  in worrying at  1:10 am

Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow, it empties today of its strength.”
Leo Buscaglia
Worry often gives a small thing a big
shadow.
Swedish Proverb
Worry.
It starts with a nagging thought.
That creates another few thoughts.
And before you know it there is a storm brewing in your mind, making you think irrationally and zapping your mental and physical energy.
Your old friend is back, creating chaos within.
I am no stranger to it either and to the
powerful negative effects it can have on life and the happiness in it.
But in the last decade I have found several habits that have helped me to greatly decrease my worrying and to more easily handle such thoughts when they pop up.
1. Most of things you worry about have never happened.
I love this quote by Winston Churchill:
When I look back on all these worries, I remember the story of the old man who said on his deathbed that he had had a lot of trouble in his life, most of which had never happened.”
I have found it to be very true in my own life.
So when you feel worries starting to pop up
ask yourself this:
How many of the things I feared would happen in my life did actually happen?
If you are anything like me then the answer will be: very few. And the very few ones that actually happened were mostly not as painful or terrible as I had expected.
Worries are most often just monsters you build in your own mind.
I find that asking myself this question
regularly and reminding myself of how little of the worries that actually came to life makes easier and easier to stay calm and to stop a worried thought before it becomes a big
snowball of negativity.
2. Avoid getting lost in vague fears.
When fears feel vague in your mind, when you lack clarity then it is very easy to get lost in exaggerated worries and disaster scenarios.
So find clarity in a worry-inducing situation by asking yourself:
Honestly and realistically, what is the worst that could happen?
When I have answered that question then I follow it up with spending a bit of time on figuring out what I can do about it if that pretty unlikely thing happens.
In my experience, the worst that could realistically happens is usually not as scary as what my mind could make up when it is running wild with vague fears.
Spending a few minutes on finding clarity in this way can save you whole lot of time, energy and suffering.
3. Don’t try to guess what is on someone’s mind.
Trying to read someone’s mind usually doesn’t work too well at all. Instead, it can very easily lead to creating an exaggerated and even disastrous scenario in your mind.
So choose a way that is less likely to lead to worries and misunderstandings.
Communicate and ask what you want to ask.
By doing so you’ll promote openness in your relationship and it will likely be happier as you avoid many unnecessary conflicts and
negativity.
4. Say stop in a situation where you know you cannot think straight.
From time to time when I am hungry or when I am lying in bed and are about to go to sleep I can become mentally vulnerable. And so worries can more easily start buzzing around
in my head.
In the past this often lead to many minutes of time that where no fun.
These days I have become better at catching such thoughts quickly and to say to myself:
No, no, we are not going to think about this now.
I then follow that up with saying this to myself:
I will think this situation or issue through at a time when I know that my mind will work much better.
Like when I have eaten. Or in the morning when I have gotten my sleep.
It takes some practice to apply this one consistently and effectively but it also makes a big difference in my life.
5. Remember, people don’t think about you and what you do as much as you may think.
They have their hands full with thinking about what other people think of them. And with thinking about what is closest to their hearts
like their children, pets, a partner or the job or school.
So don’t get lost in worries about what people may think or say if you do something. Don’t let such thoughts hold you back in life.
6. Work out.
Few things work so well and consistently as working out to release inner tensions and to
move out of a headspace that is extra
vulnerable to worries.
I also find that working out –.especially with
free weights – makes me feel more decisive and focused.
So even though working out helps me to build a stronger body my main motivation to keep doing it is for the wonderful and predictable
mental benefits.
7. Let your worry out into the light.
This is one of my favorites. Because it tends to work so well. Like they say and I Quote, "a problem half shared is already half solved"
By letting your “big” worry out into the light and talking about it with someone close to you it becomes a whole lot easier to see the situation or issue for what it really is.
Just venting for a few minutes can make a big difference and after a while you may start to wonder what you were so worried about in the
first place.
Sometimes the other person may only have to listen as you work through the situation yourself out loud.
At other times it can be very helpful to let the other person ground you and help you find a more practical and useful perspective on the
situation at hand.
If you do not have anyone to talk to at the moment about the worry bouncing around in your mind then let it out by writing about it.
Just getting it out of your head and reasoning about with yourself either on paper or in a journal on your computer can help you to
calm down and find clarity.
8. Spend more time in the present moment.
When you spend too much time reliving the past in your mind then it easy to start feeding your worries about the future. When you spend
too much time in the future then is also easy to get swept away by disaster scenarios.
So focus on spending more of your time and attention in the present moment.
Two of my favorite ways to reconnect with what is happening right now:
Slow down. Do whatever you are doing right now but do it slower. Move, talk, eat or ride your bicycle slower. By doing so you’ll become more aware of what is happening all around you right now.
Disrupt and reconnect. If you feel you are starting to worry then disrupt that thought by shouting this to yourself in your mind:
STOP! Then reconnect with the present moment by taking just one or two minutes to focus to 100% on what is going on around you. Take it all in with all your senses. Feel it, see it, smell it, hear it and
sense it on your skin.
9. Refocus on the small step you can take to move forward.
To move out the worried headspace I find it really, really helpful to just start moving and taking action to start solving or improving whatever I am concerned about.
So I ask myself:
What is one small step I can take right now to start improving this situation I am in?
Then I focus on just taking that small step forward. After that I find another small step and I take that one too.

Helpful tips on how to stop snoring at night

by Olabajo Oluwatobiloba  |  in tips at  1:51 pm

Snoring can be very annoying. We know that.
Read this:
The first step to finding a solution to stop snoring should always start with understanding the cause, which can vary from person to person and range from physical anatomy to behavioral or lifestyle factors. In
some cases, snoring may be caused by nasal congestion or sinus infections, more often than not the main cause of snoring is the
relaxation of muscles in the mouth and throat during sleep. As you pass from light to deep sleep, your muscles relax and collapse back
into the throat, narrowing and even
obstructing the airway. The passage of air through an obstructed airway causes an audible vibration, snoring! Alcohol consumption, being overweight, and sleeping habits can also create or exacerbate an existing snoring habit, but the cause of
snoring remains the same.
The cause of snoring is extremely important to keep in mind when searching for a remedy as some solutions will not prevent or alleviate
the relaxation of muscles and resulting obstruction of the airway.
1. SLEEP ON YOUR SIDE:
Sleeping on your side can be an effective way to stop snoring naturally. Doing so can help
prevent the tongue from relaxing onto the back wall of the throat. Be careful with other sleeping positions such as sleeping on your stomach or propping your head up can put
strain on your neck resulting in neck pain.
See post about sleeping positions
2. LOSE WEIGHT:
Weight loss can help individuals reduce snoring naturally, especially when snoring was not an issue prior to weight gain. Excess fat on the body, especially around the neck, can
put undue pressure on the airway and even cause it to partially collapse. This partial airway restriction results in snoring. While weight loss may be helpful for some sufferers, weight loss is not a sure-fire solution, as
slimmer individuals can snore too!
See how eating mangoes can make you lose weight
3. AVOID ALCOHOL AND SEDATIVES:
The consumption of booze, tranquilizers or sleeping pills can lead to the depression of your central nervous system, which relaxes the
muscles of your throat and jaw. Relaxed muscles in this area can cause the tongue to relax as well and block the throat airway. If you consume these substances frequently, they may be to blame for your snoring habit.
See topics about alcohol
4. VISIT AN ALLERGIST:
An allergist can help you determine if your snoring is caused in part by an allergen. Some common irritants such as dust, dust mites and
pet dander may all contribute to nighttime snoring. Replacing pillows every six months, dusting ceiling fans and other bedroom surfaces frequently and keeping pets outside
the bedroom are all steps that can be taken as natural ways to stop snoring.
5. STOP SMOKING:
Research has proven smoking is a major contributor to snoring. It is believed snoring as a result of smoking is caused by upper airway irritation and inflammation. Even more concerning, prolonged smoking can lead to permanent damage to the respiratory system.
See topics about the defects of smoking
6. KEEP A SCHEDULE:
Set a routine and keep it! Going to bed and getting up at the same time each day creates a consistent circadian rhythm, or biological
sleep-wake cycle. This helps ensure your body is getting plenty of rest. When we become overtired we experience a deeper sleep that
can effect our throat airway in ways similar to drinking alcohol or taking a sedative. Plenty of quality sleep is just one of many natural ways to stop snoring.
7. EXERCISE:
Moderate exercise a few times a week is beneficial for a multitude of reasons, including its ability to help you stop snoring naturally.
In addition, exercise can be helpful in
maintaining a consistent sleep schedule as well as assisting with weight loss; both suggested habits that are natural ways to stop snoring.
8. NASAL CONGESTION:
A stuffed-up nose makes breathing difficult, especially at night. Lying down can create a vacuum in your throat, which in turn leads to
snoring. You can clear nasal passages by using a Neti pot, an over-the-counter saline spray or a humidifier. Nasal decongestants
are another option as they improve inhalation and allow you to breathe more easily both during the day and while sleeping.

Helpful tips in shunning halitosis(bad breath)

Hmm. Thought they said protein is good but now

by Olabajo Oluwatobiloba  |  in tips at  7:41 am

Classes of food. Protein is there and is said to be great but scientists tells us that high intake could result to diseases caused by smoking
read full.:
Two new studies conclude that low protein intake may hold the key to a long and healthy life, at least until old age. They also emphasize the need to examine not only calories when deciding what constitutes a healthy diet, but also where those calories come from - such as whether protein is animal or plant-based.
Another key finding is the suggestion that while a high-protein diet may in the short term help people lose weight and body fat, in the long term it may harm health and reduce lifespan.
Both studies are published in the journal Cell Metabolism .
The first study was led by Valter Longo, a professor at the University of Southern California, who counts longevity and cell biology among his areas of expertise.
He and his colleagues showed that high protein consumption is linked to increased risk of cancer , diabetes and death in middle-aged adults, although this was not the case for older adults who may benefit from moderate protein consumption. Also, the effect is much reduced when the protein comes from plant sources.
The second study was led by Stephen Simpson, a professor at the University of Sydney in Australia, whose group works at the interface of
physiology, ecology, and behavior. From studying mice, he and his fellow authors concluded that diets low in protein and high in carbohydrates are linked to the longest lifespans.
Both studies suggest it is not just calories , but also diet composition - particularly in terms of amount and type of protein - that may determine the length and health of a lifespan.
Prof. Longo says:
"We studied simple organisms, mice and humans, and provide convincing evidence that a high- protein diet - particularly if the proteins are derived from animals - is nearly as bad as smoking for your health."
High-protein diet had highest risk, except in older adults
In their study, Prof. Longo and colleagues analyzed data on over 6,800 American adults who took part in the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) III, a US national survey that assesses health and diet.
They found that:
The researchers found that consuming a high-protein diet in middle age significantly increases the likelihood of dying from cancer or diabetes.
Participants aged 50 and over who said they ate a high-protein diet were four times more likely to die from cancer or diabetes, and twice as likely to die from any cause, in the following 18 years.
Those who consumed moderate amounts of protein had a three-fold higher chance of dying of cancer.
These effects either reduced or disappeared altogether among participants whose high-protein diet was mainly plant-based.
However, in those aged 65 and over, the effect was nearly the opposite - high protein intake was linked to a 60% reduced risk of dying from cancer and a 28% reduced risk of dying from any cause, with similar effects for moderate protein intake.
The researchers defined a high-protein diet as one where at least 20% of the calories consumed come from protein.
Growth hormone, amino acid damage, ability to process protein may be key factors
The team suggests, because of evidence from other studies, that growth hormone and the growth factor IGF-1 may be responsible for these effects, as Prof. Longo explains:
"Notably, the activity of these factors, but also body weight, declines naturally with aging, which may explain why older people not only did not benefit but appeared to do worse if they ate a low-protein diet."
Cell experiments have suggested the amino acids that proteins are made of can reduce cellular protection and increase damage to DNA, both of which might explain why high-protein intake is linked to cancer.
Also, experiments in mice have shown that the body's ability to process protein declines with age.
Researchers trialed 25 different diets in hundreds of mice
In the second study, Prof. Simpson and his group trialed the effects of 25 different diets on hundreds of mice to see how different amounts and types of proteins, fats and carbohydrates affected energy intake, metabolic health, aging and lifespan.
They discovered that:
Mice on diets high in protein and low in carbohydrates had reduced food intake and lower levels of body fat, but they also died earlier and had poorer cardiometabolic health.
Mice on low-protein, high-fat diets had the poorest health and shortest lifespans.
The healthiest, longest living mice were those on diets high in carbohydrates and low in protein - this was in spite of increased food intake and having higher levels of body fat.
A calorie-restricted diet did not increase lifespan - which is contrary to evidence from previous studies on mice, other animals, yeast and worms that show calorie restriction lengthens life as long as supplemented with essential nutrients.
Prof. Simpson says:
"We have shown explicitly why it is that calories aren't all the same - we need to look at where the calories come from and how they interact. This research has enormous implications for how much food we eat, our body fat, our heart and metabolic health, and ultimately the duration of our lives."
He and his colleagues suggest the ideal diet for a long and healthy life is one with moderate amounts of high-quality protein, low in fat, and high in complex carbohydrates.
Meanwhile, Medical News Today recently learned of a study by researchers at the University of Granada in Spain that found high-protein diets may increase risk of kidney disease.
Ok now you know balance diet is v.important ehn?

by Olabajo Oluwatobiloba  |  in tips at  1:06 am

Many things causes stress which will be explained below.
Change is often a cause of stress. Like change in environment etc.
Even positive changes, like having a baby or getting a job promotion, can be stressful.
Stress can be short-term or long-term.
Common causes of short-term stress:
Needing to do a lot in a short amount of time.
Experiencing many small problems in the same day, like a traffic jam or running late.
Getting lost.
Having an argument.
Common causes of long-term stress:
Death of a loved one
Chronic (ongoing) illness
Caring for someone with a serious illness
Problems at work or at home
Money problems(many people have this one. Lol)
Benefits of not been stressed
Over time, chronic stress can lead to health problems.
Managing stress can help you:
Sleep better
Control your weight
Get sick less often and feel better faster when you are sick
Have less neck and back pain
Be in a better mood
Get along better with family and friends

Steps you need to take
Being prepared and feeling in control of your situation is one great thing that will help lower your stress.
1. Plan your time.
Think ahead about how you are going to use your time. Write a to-do list and figure out what’s most important – then do that thing first. Be realistic about how long each task will take.
2. Prepare yourself.
Prepare ahead of time for stressful events like a job interview or a hard conversation with a loved one.
Picture the event in your mind.
Stay positive.
Imagine what the room will look like and what you will say.
Have a back-up plan.
3. Relax with deep breathing or meditation.
Deep breathing and meditation are 2 ways to relax your muscles and clear your mind.
4. Relax your muscles.
Stress causes tension in your muscles. Try stretching or taking a hot shower to help you relax.
5. Get active.
Regular physical activity can help prevent and manage stress.
It can also help relax your muscles and improve your mood.
Aim for 2 hours and 30 minutes a week of physical activity.
Try going for a bike ride or taking a walk.
Be sure to exercise for at least 10 minutes at a time.
Do strengthening activities – like crunches or lifting weights – at least 2 days a week(lol. Iffa hear).
6. Eat healthy.
Give your body plenty of energy by eating healthy foods – including vegetables, fruits, and lean sources of protein.
7. Drink alcohol only in moderation.
Avoid using alcohol and drugs to manage your stress. If you choose to drink which i don't support, drink only in moderation .
This means no more than 1 drink
a day for women and no more than 2 drinks a day for men(women you hear?. Don't be forming mayweather o).
8. Talk to friends and family.
Tell your friends and family if you are feeling stressed. They may be able to help.
9. Get help if you need it.
Stress is a normal part of life. But if your stress doesn’t go away or keeps getting worse, you may need help. Over time, stress can lead to serious problems like depression, anxiety, or PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder).

Like seriously, if you can't sleep its a big problem o.
Read this post and get educated.
You know,Many things can make it harder for you to sleep, including:
Stress
Pain
Certain health conditions
Some medicines
Caffeine (usually from coffee, tea, and soda)
Alcohol and other drugs
Untreated sleep disorders, like sleep apnea or insomnia
If you are having trouble sleeping, try to make changes to your routine to get the sleep you need.
For example, try to:
Follow a regular sleep schedule
Stay away from caffeine in the afternoon
Take a hot bath before bed to relax
How can I tell if I have a sleep disorder?
Signs of a sleep disorder can include:
Difficulty falling asleep
Trouble staying asleep
Sleepiness during the day that makes it difficult to do tasks like driving a car(guess this was what caused mine. I sleep late this days and wake early.)
Frequent loud snoring
Pauses in breathing or gasping while
sleeping
Pain or itchy feelings in your legs or arms at night that feel better when you move or massage the area
If you have any of these signs, talk to a doctor or nurse.
You may need to be tested or treated
for a sleep disorder.

Now what you need to Take Action against disorder sleeping!
Making small changes to your daily routine can help you get the sleep you need.
Change what you do during the day.
Exercise earlier in the day, not right before you go to bed.
Stay away from caffeine (including coffee, tea, and soda) late in the day.
If you have trouble sleeping at night, limit daytime naps to 20 minutes or less.(hmm, mine passed 20 minutes)
If you drink alcohol, drink only in
moderation .
This means no more than 1 drink a day for women and no more than 2
drinks a day for men.
Alcohol can keep you from sleeping soundly.
Don’t eat a big meal close to bedtime.
Quit smoking . The nicotine in cigarettes can make it harder for you to sleep(no wonder, there is always noise even at night in this beer parlour).
Create a good sleep environment.
Make sure your bedroom is dark. If there are street lights near your window, try putting up light-blocking curtains.
Keep your bedroom quiet.
Consider keeping electronic devices like TVs and computers out of the bedroom.
Set a bedtime routine.
Go to bed at the same time every night.
Get the same amount of sleep each night.
Avoid eating, talking on the phone, reading, or watching TV in bed.
Try not to lie in bed worrying about things.

If you are still awake after staying in bed for more than 20 minutes, get up. Do something relaxing until you feel sleepy.
Hope you learnt something?
